People magazine is reporting the birth of supermodel Gisele Bundchen's child, a baby boy.

This is the first child for Bundchen and her husband Tom Brady, who has another son from a previous relationship.

Congratulations to the Bundchen-Brady family.

Drama continues in the life of Tiger Woods

Tiger Woods is probably praying that 2009 can come to an end!

It started with an early morning accident, his wife smashing the window with a golf club, and soon after the tabloids went totally beserk, as to what really happened that Friday morning.

Ever since, Tiger cannot keep his closet door locked, and the skeletons are coming out faster than anyone thought.

A role model to aspiring golfers, a faithful husband (or so we thought) and now, six mistresses claiming to have had sexual liaisons with the world's number one golfer.

I do feel sorry for his wife, seen here shortly after the birth of their second child.

But I also think she must have suspected something....a woman always knows, but is sometimes more than willing to turn a blind eye.

Why the tabloids are still on this bandwagon, I do not understand.

Yes, the revelations have come as a total shock, but let's face it: Tiger Woods is not the first person to cheat on a partner, and I don't think he'll be the last. Let's leave the family alone, let them decide what's best for themselves and their family, give them some privacy.

Introducing Lou Samuel

Heidi Klum and husband Seal recently released the first pictures of their youngest child, Lou.

Not going the celebrity route of selling the first pictures to a tabloid, the pictures were released on their website.

Lou is absolutely beautiful....

Look-alike Monday

The resemblance between Fantastic Four's Julian McMahon, Dawsons Creek's Kerr Smith and Brothers & Sisters' Matthew Rhys, is uncanny.

Heidi Klum gives birth to baby No. 4

The ever-gorgeous Heidi Klum has given birth to her second daughter and fourth chilled with hubby Seal....congratulations!!!

Already parents to Leni, Henry and Johan, they welcomed daughter Lou on Friday 9 October.

According to People.com, this is what Seal had to say about their youngest's birth:
"It's difficult to imagine loving another child as much as you love your existing children," Seal writes. "Anyone who has a family will tell you this. Where will one find that extra love? If you love your existing children with all of your heart, how then can one possibly find more heart with which to love another?"
"On Friday, Oct. 9, 2009, at 7:46 p.m., the answer to this question came in the form of our fourth child and second daughter," he continues. "Lou Sulola Samuel was born, and from the moment she looked into both of our eyes, it was endless love at first sight. She is beautiful beyond words and we are happy that she chose us to watch her grow over the coming years."

Jolie-Pitts are beautiful children

Aside from a picture when arriving in the East.....the youngest of the Jolie-Pitt clan has not been seen much in public.

However, a recent trip to Syria gave us the opportunity to see what the 14-month old twins, Knox and Vivienne, look like.

All I can say is: ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!

Vivienne looks so much like a younger Shiloh....good genes!!

Celebrity internet death hoaxes....so not on!

In a week where the entertainment industry is coming to terms with the deaths of Ed McMahon, Charlies' Angel Farrah Fawcett and the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, I find it very disturbing that rumours are surfacing on the 'death' of other celebrities as well.

Britney Spear's twitter account was hacked, and reports surfaced that George Clooney, Jeff Goldblum, Harrison Ford, and 80's pop star Rick Astley have all died.

DO NOT PANIC...they haven't!

Jamie Foxx still disappoints

Maybe it's because he said "all South African women have instant Aids"...that started my dislike for the Oscar-winning actor. But I still think his word's at the 2009 BET awards about Michael Jackson is in bad taste. On the LA Times site:

"Thanks to show host Jamie Foxx, the Michael Jackson tribute turned into a quasi-roast with such lines as “I loved the old nose and the new nose. The afro nose and the jeri-curl nose.” "

Monday look-alike

Is it just me, or does Brazilian footballer Luis Fabiano and R&B singer Chris Brown look-alike?

RIP King of Pop

It doesn't matter if you're BAD, or even BLACK OR WHITE. YOU ARE NOT ALONE! The MAN IN THE MIRROR said, you can HEAL THE WORLD.

Rest in peace Michael Jackson! A true legend....

Blame It...

on Jamie Foxx. My least favourite person in the world, when recently this came to my attention.

After a trip to South Africa...Foxx made these comments....funny perhaps...but as a South African woman I felt offended. First of all, not all of it is true (the woman being absolutely gorgeous is)...But his comments on 'instant Aids' is so inappropriate.

I am starting to think he's not such a clever bloke...not even an Oscar will make him smart. His comments on Hannah Montana star, Miley Cyrus...I mean really now! And his daughter is more or less the same age.

Instead of South African radio stations banning Chris Brown's songs after he allegedly attacked pop songbird Rihanna, shouldn't we ban Foxx's music from our airwaves?

Who does he think he is for insulting us this way!

Good People...

where did they go? I think this could be my favourite Jack Johnson song...and very relevant these days.

I don't think there's many good people around these days...there's only reports of murder, kidnapping, corruption, theft...and who knows what is not being reported.

Winner

South African Idols season 5 has a new winner...Jason Hartman!

Initially the songbird from Atlantis was announced as the winner at the spectacular finale, which also saw the judges take to the stage. However, South African cellphone network providers were quite slow, and a lot, as in thousands!, of votes came in after the cut-off time.

So now, there are two winners, although Jason won by more than 200 000 votes!

I'm so happy for him!! Must admit, was a bit sad when he didn't win on the night. However, I prefer Sasha's song to his.

I know they'll both make a success of their careers!!

It's over now

Katie Price, aka Jordan, and her husband, the singer Peter Andre, have confirmed what's been suspected for months - they're splitting up.

After months of speculation and denials, they've finally come out to say their four year marriage is over! Peter blames Katies 'wild ways' for the split...while she is still claiming her love for the father of two of her three children.

I wonder who'll be next with a similar revelation....

Happy Birthday

TO ME!!

I'm so happy to be celebrating another birthday with friends and family....they truly are amazing!!
Thank you for the best wishes, gifts, and most importantly, thank you for being in my life!!
Love you....mwah

I Dreamed a Dream

I've finally caught on to the Susan Boyle phenomenon.....and damn did she blow me away!!

I must admit her appearance isn't what you'd expect from a superstar....but in my eyes she's more than just your average superstar. I wouldn't even use the words Susan Boyle and average in the same sentence!!

Susan Boyle proves that appearance isn't everything...that anyone can impress and get on the world stage, knowing that you've got pure talent.

Three cheers to a woman who shows that anything is possible and that anyone can dream big!

And the fact that you're kicking President Obama's ass in views on youtube...makes you my Woman of the Week.

Amazing

The ever beautiful Heidi Klum is expecting her fourth child with hubby Seal.

After internet rumours surfaced, Seal confirmed at a show that she was indeed pregnant.

The couple already have three children, daughter Leni, and two sons Johan and Henry.

Personally I hope the fourth child will be a little girl...Congratulations!

Another one bites the dust

Marriages in Hollywood should definitely be seen as a luxury! If you make it to the one year mark, you should consider yourself damn lucky!

Now another couple, Mel Gibson and his wife Robyn Moore, have decided to call it quits - after 28 years of marriage.

Black Dog

The dog has entered the White House!!

By no means a dog person, or even a cat person, I must say the First Dog is absolutely adorable!

A gift from Ted Kennedy, the Obama girls finally have a dog....Bo!

I thought the Portuguese water dog was named after daddy dearest's initials...but apparently their cousins have a cat with the same name.

No One...

saw this coming, including me. In fact, I was hoping Thembi would make it to the Top Three, in the fifth season of Idols. This girl's got spunk, and a big voice for such a little girl. And her last performance on Idols, was beyond great.

This makes me wonder....do we not vote for our favourites, or do South Africans not have taste when they see or hear great voices...or talent. I'll go for the later....

This is because ANC president Jacob Zuma has just been voted sexiest politician in the country!! At first I thought it was a joke...but clearly not.

As for Thembi, I wish you everything of the best!!! Your future music career will soar to great heights, and you're by no way a Weekend Special.

It's been a while

2009 is a great year for supermodel Gisele Bundchen. First a secret and intimate wedding (difficult these days with all the paparazzi) to uber-hot sports star Tom Brady, and then a second wedding in beautiful Costa Rica. And now she's also on the April cover of my favourite magazine Vanity Fair...

She's Gone

Jade Goody passed away on the day Brits celebrate Mothers Day....after a public battle with cervical cancer. It was news everyone was expecting to hear, especially after she was released from hospital. But when the news came, it was still sad. My prayers go out to her family, especially her sons. But also to so many other families who have, and are, going through similar situations.

It's been a while...

That it has...and so much has happened since I last saw Idols...or blogged on it.

The tragic death of Natasha Richardson has made me realise how fragile and short life is. I haven't seen many Liam Neeson movies...but this story reminds me of how sad he was when he lost his wife in Love Actually....I cannot imagine the grief he and his family is going through now. My heart goes out to them!!

I love the vintage picture of Natasha on the Vanity Fair site!

More tragic (yet cruel) news from the world of celebrities...is OK! magazines' tribute to Jade Goody. From a media person, I think it's totally pathetic how they're trying to cash in on her dying....for goodness sake, how can you have an "In Loving Memory of Jade Goody" magazine, if she's still fighting this illness.

My friend justified this by saying, at least she gets to see what people are saying about her...

What do you think?

A Foggy Day

Yes, indeed it is....Mathew Moolman is gone!!

The talent in Idols season 5 isn't the best, but gosh, the guys in the competition can definitely sing, INCLUDING Mathew!!

I was in utter shock when he was voted out...it's not something I understand. And I could see the shock on the contestants faces as well, when presenter Liezel van der Westhuizen bid him a final farewell.

It makes me wonder about this voting system...do South Africans not know talent when they see or hear it, or are people basing their votes on race? If the latter is true...then it really is foggy days in the 21st century.

Doesn't Really Matter

The rumours are rife that Rihanna and Chris Brown are back together. A mere three weeks after the alleged assault, that left her looking like this...

Must say they do make a good couple...if pics of their happier days are anything to go by. Although I expected this to happen, I must admit, if the rumours are true, I am a little disappointed. Rihanna has the perfect opportunity for women all over, to highlight the importance of domestic violence. She can stand up for women's rights, stand tall and stand proud! Now, if, God forbid, this should happen to her again..everyone would be saying 'I told you so....she shouldn't have gone back to him'.

If for whatever reason Rihanna is back with Chris Brown...good for them....they clearly love each other that much, that almost anything is forgiveable. From the outside we shouldn't judge, but pray that history won't repeat itself. With all the crap already going on in the world, we don't need a modern day Ike and Tina Turner.

I guess it doesn't really matter what we say, think or feel...In the end it's these two people who'll have to live with the decisions they make. Afterall, it only affects them, doesn't it?

Why do I feel so sad...

Maybe sad is a state of mind...but when it feels as if the world is against you..sadness remains.

I've always told myself 'do not put all your eggs in one basket' - sadly, i did it this year. Forgetting my true self, what makes me happy, and those who I care about...and now it's biting me in my big brown stretch-marked ass!!

Now I'm hoping, or is it praying, that it's not too late...

Beau Soir

A few days on the Oscar buzz is still in the air....

Kate Winslet treats her little Oscar like a person, keeping it warm with a shawl. And the kids from Slumdog Millionaire, are being treated like royalty.

I love the after party pics of Vanity Fair's website....what do you think?

Truly, Madly, Deeply

I've never followed Jade Goody's career...not even her infamous racist comments in the Big Brother house. However, since she's been diagnosed with cancer, I've followed her through treatment, losing her hair, frolocking in the sun with her cute boys, and marrying the man of her dreams.

Every girl dreams of her wedding day...and even though hers wasn't under the best of circumstances, it was still a dream wedding.

OK! Magazine has the exclusive rights....and have such a beautiful picture on the latest issue. Check it out!

The Glitch

I'm totally addicted to my email...especially G-Chat. How else do I get to stay in touch with my friends?

However, access to my account has been restricted...YIKES!!

Fortunately, it seems to be a global problem (or is that unfortunate). At least I know my place of employment hasn't blocked this website yet.

Pretty please...fix the problem soon.....need to make contact with the outside world!

(Untitled)....

Hello all....and welcome to my world of life, love and everything else!!

I've been going back and forth as to what my first post should be. Truth be told, there are so many issues on my mind right now, I couldn't decide.

So I thought a little introductory post, telling you of what I think has been dominating world headlines in recent days. However, I don't think it's all newsworthy. Some of it is disturbing, and other news just damn right shocking.

In my home country, sunny South Africa, it just seems as if there's nothing good to report. The world capital of marijuana, corrupt politicians, and a run-up to a national election, which will be messy....let's hope not bloody.

And of course, the sex tape, of our former rugby captain....Joost van der Westhuizen. It's their own business if he's cheating on his lovely wife, but sadly, I don't think it's the first time, or that she didn't know of it. She's just very pissed right now, because everyone knows. Question remains: is it newsworthy? Does this deserve to dominate news headlines and make front page? I think not....sex tapes are nothing new, and hundreds more will pop out of the woodworks of 'famous people' before 2012.

Now disturbing news is a 13-year-old becoming a father. He looks like a 6-year-old, holding his younger sibling. Why are our kids doing grown up stuff? Now I might sound a little old (kinda) and conservative (not that bad), it's just that your childhood passes by so quickly, you should enjoy it doing kiddie things. I mean, dog knows that once you hit 16, it's just downhill from there....tax, responsibility, relationships, work, pressure, etc, etc, etc. If I could go back to my innocent youth of playing with Malibu Barbie, I'd go in a second.

And now...probably the top entertainment story before the Oscars take over....the Rihanna being assaulted pics. Just awful....no words can explain the pain I felt after seeing the pic.
